Underwriting Sponsorship Terms

By becoming an AWCM underwriting sponsor, you are providing financial support to help Ashburnham Westminster Community Media fulfill its nonprofit mission and continue providing community programming and media services to Ashburnham and Westminster.

Your sponsorship is for a period of 12 months and includes the acknowledgment benefits associated with the sponsorship level you selected. Benefits may include acknowledgment on AWCM’s bulletin board, website, cable and streaming channels, AWCM-produced programming, and other recognition materials as described for the selected level.

Underwriting acknowledgments are expressions of appreciation for community support and are not commercial advertisements. Acknowledgments may include your business or organization name, logo, website address, location, and a brief value-neutral description of your products or services.

Acknowledgments may not include calls to action, customer testimonials, product endorsements, pricing, discounts, coupons, comparative claims, or language encouraging viewers to buy, purchase, visit, call, or donate. AWCM retains final approval over all acknowledgment wording, logos, images, audio, graphics, placement, scheduling, and presentation.

By submitting your sponsorship, you confirm that you are authorized to provide any business name, logo, website, or other materials submitted to AWCM and authorize AWCM to use those materials for the acknowledgment benefits associated with your sponsorship.

AWCM does not guarantee a particular audience size, number of views, customer response, or financial result. Sponsorship does not provide control over AWCM programming or editorial decisions and does not imply that AWCM endorses the sponsor or its products or services.

Online sponsorships are considered active after payment is successfully processed. Sponsorships paid by check or cash will remain pending until AWCM receives and verifies the payment. The 12-month acknowledgment period will begin after payment and any required acknowledgment materials have been received and approved by AWCM.

AWCM will provide a payment receipt. The tax treatment of an underwriting sponsorship may depend on the acknowledgment benefits provided and the sponsor’s individual circumstances. Sponsors should consult their own tax adviser regarding deductibility.
